Story Time with Big Gogi

 

Big Gogi is a grandmother of one of Indian Valley's second graders.  She loves to come and read to the kids ..........................and she definitely gets into character!  You'll usually see her around our school when it's close to any type of holiday.  Today, she told the students how Indian Valley School earned its name.  She also read a book, of course!

Looking Sharp!

Today, Israel loved Mr. Abner's bowtie.  It was the first thing he commented on when coming to school today.  It turned out to be his lucky day because Mr. Abner let him wear it for the whole day!  We have several jealous bones now.... Mr. Abner has no idea what he has started! :)

Mystery Reader Friday

Our first Mystery Reader Friday was great!  Thanks so much to the parents who participated.  The students LOVE Mystery Reader Friday and can't wait to see who this week's readers will be :)  Thank you for taking the time and reading to these sweet kiddos!
